Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Basilio Mendebal got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Basajaun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AporellosFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagunillas the free kick. Edelmiro Basajaun hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Casimiro Ferdinand took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Oalo. Angelo Oalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Basilio Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Mendebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Oalo having to interfere. Cristo Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute of the match, Esteban Leobardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasio Duardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cristo Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Angelo Oalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lagunillas! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for AporellosFC. Patricio Dominix stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Angelo Oalo. 0-2. Lagunillas's Esteban Leobardo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Esteban Leobardo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Lagunillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Leobardo couldn't finish the play. AporellosFC's Anastasio Duardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save AporellosFC from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Esteban Leobardo made the kick off in the second half. Arsenio Nevada struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Anastasio Duardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagunillas. Angelo Oalo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Lorien in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, AporellosFC's Basilio Mendebal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Oalo. Angelo Oalo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After having played for 59 minutes, Arsenio Nevada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagunillas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Nevada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, AporellosFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Leobardo came free, but Anastasio Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Basilio Mendebal managed to get in a good position for a shot. AporellosFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Mendebal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Oalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Anastasio Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Nevada in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, AporellosFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Ignado to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Nevada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Duardo having to interfere. Esteban Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anastasio Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Nevada in the 82nd minute of the match. Esteban Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Duardo having to interfere. In the 90th minute Esteban Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenio Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AporellosFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
