After 5 minutes, Gualterio Dalmu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Madero Harbour's Paulino Eutropio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Dalmu in the 11th minute of play forced Madero Harbour's goalkeeper Paulino Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Madero Harbour's Paulino Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Txurio in the 12th minute of play. Rene Sindo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Hipolito Txurio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Eutropio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ezequiel Bilbo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Paulino Eutropio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sinsacate FC. After a defensive mix-up in Sinsacate FC's zone, Vicente Chuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Gombal came out of the goal and Vicente Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Sinsacate FC got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Urtzi. Madero Harbour's Paulino Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Sindo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute Gualterio Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Dalmu in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Eutropio saved Madero Harbour from getting behind. In the 40th minute of the match Octavio Urtzi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Eutropio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulino Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Txurio in the 41st minute of play. Madero Harbour's Paulino Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Paez in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Gualterio Dalmu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Katia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Paulino Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley do Vale to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Sinsacate FC's Gualterio Dalmu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Eutropio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Madero Harbour booed when Sinsacate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Sinsacate FC's Gualterio Dalmu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After 71 played minutes Sinsacate FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Paez. 74 minutes into the game, Elvio Paez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinsacate FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madero Harbour the free kick. In the 74th minute, Elvio Paez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Katia in the 76th minute of play forced Madero Harbour's goalkeeper Paulino Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Eutropio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Dalmu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Hipolito Txurio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulino Eutropio. Hipolito Txurio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When Patrick Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Madero Harbour fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Paraibano couldn't finish the play. Sinsacate FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
