Eloy Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Umbruso, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 9th match minute, Boca Juniors x3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Medero to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Los Diablos got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Jerold. In the 12th minute, Ricardo Medero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Los Diablos's Carlos Quirze in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors x3's goalie prevented a goal. Los Diablos's Generoso Unax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Los Diablos from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, Los Diablos's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Tercero came free, but Generoso Unax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Jerold in the 31st minute of play forced Boca Juniors x3's goalkeeper Eloy Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Fabio Eate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Los Diablos's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Tercero came free, but Generoso Unax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Tercero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Generoso Unax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Berbiz's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors x3's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Berbiz helped the player get up and apologised. 43 minutes into the game, one of Los Diablos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Vladimiro Umbruso made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Ignacio Gelmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Diablos and the Boca Juniors x3 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Ignacio Gelmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Generoso Unax stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Tercero's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Jacobo Tercero scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Unax, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute Prudencio Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Unax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Diablos's Generoso Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Iruinea in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Quirze got free with Eloy Lopes in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 68 minutes, Carlos Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Diablos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Quirze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Iruinea in the 70th minute of play. Eloy Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Umbruso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors x3's zone, Vladimiro Umbruso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Lopes came out of the goal and Vladimiro Umbruso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloy Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Umbruso's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors x3's goalkeeper Eloy Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Quirze. Prudencio Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Unax having to interfere. Boca Juniors x3's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
