Spectators: 7069 (Terracing: 5435, Seating: 1490, VIP seats: 144) La Cruz del Sur's Pascual Delfino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Freddy Olando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Lohitzun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Cruz del Sur's Octavio Aurre got a free kick in the 6th minute. Freddy Olando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Aurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Freddy Olando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Cruz del Sur fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Bonifacio Ferdinand shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Pascual Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cruz del Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Delfino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Lohitzun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Freddy Olando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Olando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emilio Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Freddy Olando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Lohitzun came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cruz del Sur's Octavio Aurre. But to his dismay, Octavio Aurre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Denis Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anastasio Argider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Eguntsenti having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Argider was the one to do the kick off. Amado Vedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Aurre kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Emilio Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Aurre in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Boca BéC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Jerrald. Augusto Misael received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Lohitzun came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Misael slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 58th minute. Pascual Delfino might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Lohitzun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Delfino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Teofilo Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pascual Delfino came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the La Cruz del Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Delfino couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Freddy Olando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, La Cruz del Sur's Octavio Aurre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Lohitzun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Pascual Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Pascual Delfino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 80 minutes, Leon Txaran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca BéC and the La Cruz del Sur players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Boca BéC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Txaran. In the 82nd minute, Boca BéC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pascual Delfino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anastasio Argider hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Octavio Aurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 played minutes Boca BéC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Corderro. A collision led to La Cruz del Sur getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Cosme Cutberto hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Delfino got free with Emilio Lohitzun in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Efrain Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Victor Gotzon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca BéC and the La Cruz del Sur players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Cruz del Sur booed when Boca BéC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over La Cruz del Sur could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boca BéC throughout the match.
