Gilberto Dalmu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Guter in the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Pitin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Dalmu saved Talleres from getting behind. Mario Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Dalmu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Diego Olo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Enzo Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gilberto Dalmu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Guter came free, but Gilberto Dalmu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Enzo Pitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Dalmu came out of the goal and Enzo Pitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmar Azeari struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Julio Umea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres's goalkeeper Gilberto Dalmu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Julio Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Azeari, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 56 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Azeari. Efrain Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Mario Guter in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilberto Dalmu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edgard Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Enzo Pitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Dalmu came out of the goal and Enzo Pitin tried to chip the ball over his head. Julio Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Breogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Alvaro Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enzo Pitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Iker Solustiano fired a really elegant long shot, but Gilberto Dalmu threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 80 minutes into the match, Talleres's goalkeeper Gilberto Dalmu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Guter. Mario Guter hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mario Guter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Enzo Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Dalmu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Guter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Gilberto Dalmu made a huge save. Apolo Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Delmar Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Azeari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
