Sharks's Arnoldo Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Bemabe in the 5th minute of play. Arnoldo Izotz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Guter went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Arnoldo Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Sharks's Mariano Cordarin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mariano Cordarin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sharks protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mariano Cordarin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Famatanca AFC booed when Sharks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Famatanca AFC's Julio Umea got control of the ball when Aristides Cibran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Ariando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Umea having to make a save. Sharks's Arnoldo Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Pitin in the 27th minute of play. Domingos Ladio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Julio Umea made a huge save. Julio Umea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Ladio in the 35th minute. Julio Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Museth, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julio Umea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Ladio's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Arnoldo Izotz made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Mario Guter sent off a good shot on target. Julio Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Museth in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Ladio in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Umea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sharks's Arnoldo Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Azeari in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Bemabe in the 75th minute of play forced Sharks's goalkeeper Arnoldo Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Museth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Pitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Mario Guter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoldo Izotz. The goal made the score 1-3. Gregorio Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Domingos Ladio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sharks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Ladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Famatanca AFC's Julio Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Cibran in the 89th minute of play. Amador Federigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Julio Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Lucio Museth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Famatanca AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Sharks had held the ball for most of the match.
