The supporters of CURAHEE FC booed when Merced was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Arnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valentin Nesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Martinez during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Gaudencio Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Nesto charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Nesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentin Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sixto Sal came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by CURAHEE FC's Silvano Eztebe. But to his dismay, Silvano Eztebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 41 minutes into the game, Silvano Eztebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sixto Sal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvano Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Sal having to interfere.

The wind increased when Silvano Eztebe made the kick off in the second half. Sixto Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Eztebe in the 55th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, one of Merced:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 62nd minute, Gualterio Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Isidro Filipo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the CURAHEE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Filipo couldn't finish the play. Sixto Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Eztebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Orlando Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lucio Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merced's Sixto Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Eztebe in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Merced's goalkeeper Sixto Sal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Filipo. In the 85th minute, Luis Gurutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merced's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Silvano Eztebe 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 94thth minute of the game Isidro Filipo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merced's Sixto Sal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvano Eztebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sixto Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Valentin Nesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Merced's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Eztebe came free, but Sixto Sal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CURAHEE FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
