Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) NEUQUÉN ATL's Cristo Enol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, NEUQUÉN ATL's goalkeeper Lucio Romelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Danel. Orlando Paez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Taurino having to interfere. Edgardo Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Enol in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes NEUQUÉN ATL got a freekick which was hit by Julian Berbiz. Niupi FC's Edgardo Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Enol in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Guillermo Danel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucio Romelio. Guillermo Danel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. NEUQUÉN ATL's Orlando Paez got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Simon Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guillermo Danel to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Orlando Paez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute of the match Bernardino Gipuzkoa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucio Romelio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucio Romelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Danel's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Enol in the 69th minute of play forced Niupi FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes, Niupi FC's Silvano Neron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucio Romelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Niupi FC reached it. Edgardo Taurino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Paez in the 75th minute. Bernardino Sayveon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, NEUQUÉN ATL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Martinez to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Guillermo Danel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Danel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Flor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Romelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Niupi FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Chorache. For all the effort they put into the match, the NEUQUÉN ATL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Niupi FC.
