Leopoldo Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13thth minute of the game Salvador Montrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reverendo Alegria FC's Leopoldo Cebo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salvador Montrell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Cebo having to make a save. Alonzo Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Montrell struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Leopoldo Cebo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gabba Gabba CARP. After 27 played minutes Reverendo Alegria FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Handi. When Salvador Montrell came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Gabba Gabba CARP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Montrell couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Montrell made a kick off. The supporters of Gabba Gabba CARP booed when Reverendo Alegria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabba Gabba CARP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Montrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Machado got free with Fernan Gonchan in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Salvador Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabba Gabba CARP's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Montrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Cebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Gonchan having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Gabba Gabba CARP's Salvador Montrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Cebo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Reverendo Alegria FC booed when Gabba Gabba CARP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabba Gabba CARP walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
