Joel Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Rosio having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Maquina Roja's goalkeeper Laureano Rosio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, 7 Libertadores's Domingos Llorian got a free kick in the 99th minute. La Maquina Roja were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
