In the 3rd minute, Salvador Montrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Paez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de la palta's goalkeeper Melquiades Paez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Salvador Montrell came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Gabba Gabba CARP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Montrell couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Paez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonzo Dominguez went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Salvador Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adan Asur came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Estudiantes de la palta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Asur couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Valentin Ignazio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gabba Gabba CARP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de la palta the free kick. Braulio Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Montrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Paez having to interfere. If Salvador Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Jesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Paez having to make a save. In the 45th minute Salvador Montrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Estudiantes de la palta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gabba Gabba CARP were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Salvador Montrell made the kick off in the second half. Fernan Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Llanos in the 53rd minute of play. Melquiades Paez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 61stth minute of the game Salvador Montrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes de la palta's Melquiades Paez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roberto Lluis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernan Gonchan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Fernan Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Lluis in the 66th minute of the match. Estudiantes de la palta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Salvador Montrell scored to the left of an out of position Melquiades Paez, making the score, 0-4. Melquiades Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, Estudiantes de la palta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Filipo to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Montrells short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Melquiades Paez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 79 played minutes Estudiantes de la palta got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Foro. Estudiantes de la palta's Melquiades Paez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de la palta from getting a goal against them. When Alonzo Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gabba Gabba CARP's protests and gave Alonzo Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gabba Gabba CARP getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alonzo Dominguez hit a great ball. If Simon Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Montrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Paez having to interfere. Salvador Montrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Paez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Gabba Gabba CARP's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
