Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanio Rufo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Genaro Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Leopoldo Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Hermon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cebo having to interfere. Manantiales Junior FC's Abel Porfirio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Manantiales Junior FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alonzo Lekubegi hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Reverendo Alegria FC's Benicio Loiola in action when he in the 23rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 26 played minutes Reverendo Alegria FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Handi. 31 minutes into the match, Manantiales Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Sidro came free, but Faustino Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Sidro struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Faustino Gaizkine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reverendo Alegria FC. Leopoldo Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Hermon in the 36th minute of the match. Abel Porfirio took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Cebo. Leopoldo Cebo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Abel Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cebo having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Genaro Hermon was the one to do the kick off. Agustin Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Faustino Gaizkine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Nestor Sidro in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 55th minute, Narciso Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Handi was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Reverendo Alegria FC's Aurelio Handi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Reverendo Alegria FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Epifanio Rufo hit a great ball. Leopoldo Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Porfirio in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manantiales Junior FC's Angelo Handi got a free kick in the 71st minute. Agustin Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Nestor Tadzio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Faustino Gaizkine, passed just outside the right post. Agustin Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Gaizkine having to make a save. Agustin Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Abel Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Reverendo Alegria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Sidro to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Michael was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Genaro Hermon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Reverendo Alegria FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manantiales Junior FC.
