The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Braulio Maidana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Sanson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Braulio Maidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Sanson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Braulio Maidana's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With an all-out effort, MANDIYU's Godfredo Quinito threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emiliano Tonete, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mateo Sanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Braulio Maidana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Sanson was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Braulio Maidana made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Sanson. MANDIYU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Maidana in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Sanson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute German Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MANDIYU's Mateo Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Maidana in the 35th minute of play. The C. A. Adestiempo Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Braulio Maidana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Baldomiro Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MANDIYU's Mateo Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Egun in the 46th minute of play. After the first half C. A. Adestiempo Juniors were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braulio Maidana made a kick off. Baldomiro Gau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Mateo Sanson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 54th minute Braulio Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Quinito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Pacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Braulio Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Saverio Rufio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mateo Sanson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Gau in the 72nd minute of play forced MANDIYU's goalkeeper Mateo Sanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MANDIYU's Christian Pagomari got a free kick in the 80th minute. Mateo Sanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Maidana in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, MANDIYU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Quintyn to maneuver through the defense. If Braulio Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes, Cleto Quintyn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MANDIYU and the C. A. Adestiempo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes MANDIYU got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Quintyn. In the 97th match minute, MANDIYU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Quintyn to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute, Braulio Maidana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Sanson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.
