Roberto Chabier scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Geleberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roque Mingo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Correntoso FC's Serafin Hitzeder shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Inocente got free with Roque Mingo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roque Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Hitzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd match minute, La Docta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Ted to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of La Docta FC booed when Correntoso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Hitzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Ermegildo Geleberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Truylos's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Ermegildo Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Truylos in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Correntoso FC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Geleberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Chabier. Roque Mingo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Correntoso FC's Vladimiro Inocente. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Inocente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 68th minute of the match Siro Loiola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermegildo Geleberto skillfully saved the ball. When Aristides Terciero fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Correntoso FC's protests and gave Aristides Terciero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute Wilfredo Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Geleberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Docta FC's zone, Vladimiro Inocente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Mingo came out of the goal and Vladimiro Inocente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes Correntoso FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Normando. Desiderio Ted took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ermegildo Geleberto. Correntoso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Correntoso FC were furious when Remigio Normando was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Correntoso FC! In the 97th minute, Vladimiro Inocente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Correntoso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Docta FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Correntoso FC.
