Camilo Che could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Fulgencio Faron made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Saverio Bonadona made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Fertus. Monterroca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Pallavicini AFC booed when Monterroca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pallavicini AFC's Isidoro Orlandus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Monterroca. In the 17th minute of the match Pablo Cebrian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Fertus skillfully saved the ball. If Eloy Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Eloy Rainerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Monterroca getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Carlos Arnalt hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pallavicini AFC's Isidoro Orlandus tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Monterroca defense, Saverio Bonadona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Fertus. The Monterroca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Fertus should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Eloy Rainerio put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Luciano Fertus. 39 minutes into the match, Pallavicini AFC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Faron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Che. Eloy Rainerio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Luciano Fertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pallavicini AFC. Luciano Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saverio Bonadona to strike the kick off in the second half. Monterroca's Luciano Fertus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Monterroca from getting a goal against them. Leon Pacho struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fulgencio Faron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monterroca. If Saverio Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Rainerio got free with Luciano Fertus in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Tab kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Monterroca's Camilo Che nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fulgencio Faron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Camilo Che's late challenge caught a Pallavicini AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Che helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Monterroca getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Camilo Che hit a great ball. When Camilo Che came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Monterroca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Che couldn't finish the play. Alejo Betadur might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Faron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Betadur ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Rainerio got free with Luciano Fertus in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Faron having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pallavicini AFC's zone, Alejo Betadur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Faron came out of the goal and Alejo Betadur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 minutes of play Pallavicini AFC's Ulises Herauso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ulises Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Camilo Che shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Faron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Fertus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Rainerio in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes Pallavicini AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Orlandus. Alejo Betadur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pallavicini AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
