The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Quintyn during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cleto Quintyn hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Pablo Chinto put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mateo Sanson. The audience was convinced that Adrian Eyague's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Sanson was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in MANDIYU's zone, Pablo Chinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Sanson came out of the goal and Pablo Chinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Tonete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niceto Martino having to make a save. If Emiliano Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Eyague was the one to do the kick off. Emiliano Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Martino having to interfere. In the 54th minute Emiliano Tonete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Martino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Emiliano Tonete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MANDIYU! The supporters of Quilcó booed when MANDIYU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Eyague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Sanson having to interfere. After 74 played minutes MANDIYU got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Quintyn. In the 77th minute, Quilcó's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aristides Lobo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Oscar Quin's late challenge caught a MANDIYU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Quin helped the player get up and apologised. Oscar Quin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Aristides Lobo made a precise shot to the right of Niceto Martino. Quilcó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. MANDIYU's Mateo Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Eyague in the 89th minute of play. Quilcó's Oscar Quin got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Oscar Quin off the ground. After 91 played minutes Quilcó got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Quin. Quilcó's Niceto Martino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Quilcó from getting a goal against them. Pablo Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Sanson having to interfere. The MANDIYU players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Quilcó from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
