The audience was convinced that Nestor Cilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Faron was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Rolado in the 9th minute of play forced Pallavicini AFC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Faron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Pallavicini AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Lluciano came free, but Fulgencio Faron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Bonadona in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Rolado in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Faron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saverio Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Jerold having to interfere. In the 40th minute Eloy Rainerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Pallavicini AFC defense, Nestor Cilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Faron. The Pallavicini AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Faron should have stopped the shot. Eloy Rainerio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hilario Jerold came out and tried to block the shot, but Eloy Rainerio slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saverio Bonadona was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Victoria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Santana to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Bonadona in the 56th minute of play forced Victoria AFC's goalkeeper Hilario Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Pallavicini AFC booed when Victoria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Lluciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Victoria AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Fulgencio Faron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pallavicini AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
