Perga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernan Videl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 7th minute, Danilo Baladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermengildo Rey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 9 played minutes Huelén FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Mateus. If Augusto Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Huelén FC's Hermengildo Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Baladi in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Danilo Baladi made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Rey. Huelén FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Danilo Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Rey having to interfere. Amancio Ermano charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amancio Ermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 minutes of play, Perga FC's Danilo Baladi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Rey was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Augusto Columbo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Perga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Columbo couldn't finish the play. Hermengildo Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernan Videl to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Perga FC's Hermengildo Rey threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danilo Baladi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute of the match Amado Hunfredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Rey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Augusto Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Rey having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Mateus during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Baladi in the 77th minute of play forced Huelén FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Columbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Baladi in the 82nd minute of play. In the 91st minute, Danilo Baladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Columbo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Hermengildo Rey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Perga FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
