After 9 played minutes, La Cara's Damian Gilesindo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro Formerio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Cara reached it. 15 minutes into the game, Danilo Baladi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonas Nuno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nemesio Millano fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perga FC's protests and gave Nemesio Millano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Cara booed when Perga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, Perga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Beturian to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Formerio made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Florentino Ariando sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 34 minutes, Abelardo Theodore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Cara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Theodore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Abelardo Theodore came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the La Cara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Theodore couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Florentino Ariando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauro Formerio. The goal made the score 1-1. When Lázaro Nel fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cara's protests and gave Lázaro Nel a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes La Cara got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Nel. 47 minutes into the match, La Cara's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Columbo came free, but Jonas Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Danilo Baladi struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jonas Nuno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perga FC. 53 minutes into the match, Florentino Ariando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Formerio. Perga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Ariando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Florentino Ariando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mauro Formerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Baladi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Nuno saved La Cara from getting behind. Hermengildo Moise hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Augusto Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Columbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Nuno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 minutes, Raimundo Benvide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Cara and the Perga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Cara getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Raimundo Benvide hit a great ball. Florentino Ariando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Formerio having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Florentino Ariando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mauro Formerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danilo Baladi's late challenge caught a La Cara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Baladi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Perga FC's Danilo Baladi got a free kick in the 81st minute. Abelardo Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Formerio having to interfere. Mauro Formerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Ariando in the 87th minute of the match. Gerardo Beturian hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mauro Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Cara's Abelardo Theodore got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Augusto Columbo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 95th minute, Hermengildo Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
