Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgard Gilabert made the kick off which started today's match. Ivan Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Francisco Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Emilio Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Pacifico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Omar Grabiel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Theodore was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Francisco Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Gilabert in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Resistencia's Omar Grabiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Theodore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Iraola AFC's zone, Federico Caetano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Theodore came out of the goal and Federico Caetano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute of the match, Edgard Gilabert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisco Hegoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 30 minutes Resistencia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anselmo Kauldi who took care of the corner kick. Jacobo Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Pacifico in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Iraola AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Grabiel came free, but Jacobo Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Resistencia's Emilio Pacifico got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ivan Garcia took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Hegoi. Francisco Hegoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Emilio Pacifico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jacobo Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Grabiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Pacifico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Resistencia's Francisco Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Gilabert in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes Resistencia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anselmo Kauldi who took care of the corner kick. Anselmo Kauldi made a great header on Iraola AFC's corner, it was just that Resistencia's Francisco Hegoi managed to reach the ball for a save. If Edgard Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Resistencia's Francisco Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Garcia in the 72nd minute of play. Francisco Esdras hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Francisco Hegoi came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Iraola AFC's Edgard Gilabert. But to his dismay, Edgard Gilabert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 81st minute, Pascual Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match Eustacio Gabirel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Theodore skillfully saved the ball. Emilio Pacifico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
