In the 10th play minute Fernando Gergori came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Francisco Hegoi. 1-0. If Emilio Pacifico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Gergori struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Francisco Hegoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PASION VILLERA. Emilio Pacifico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Eztebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes, Emilio Pacifico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resistencia and the PASION VILLERA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Pacifico. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Eztebe in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Hegoi saved Resistencia from getting behind. Justino Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Hipolito Manni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PASION VILLERA the free kick. After 38 played minutes Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Manni. Federico Caetano charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Caetano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Resistencia's Federico Caetano got a free kick in the 40th minute. Justino Eztebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Omar Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Grabiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Dorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fernando Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Justino Eztebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. PASION VILLERA's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Eztebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Hegoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Pacifico was the one to do the kick off. Justino Eztebe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Hegoi having to make a save. In the 58th minute of the match Eriberto Cayo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Hegoi skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th minute, Fernando Gergori made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Hegoi. Resistencia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to PASION VILLERA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Justino Eztebe hit a great ball. When PASION VILLERA's Justino Eztebe in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Eztebe came free, but Francisco Hegoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Grabiel in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pascual Dorio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emilio Pacifico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in PASION VILLERA's zone, Omar Grabiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Dorio came out of the goal and Omar Grabiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Resistencia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PASION VILLERA.
