Justino Eztebe might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Canor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Eztebe ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fernando Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Froilan Canor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Eztebe in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Amadeo Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Lertxun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Pascual Dorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Justino Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Canor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fernando Gergori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Canor was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Justino Eztebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fernando Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Amadeo Ariando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 played minutes PASION VILLERA got a freekick which was hit by Justino Eztebe. In the 39th minute Justino Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Canor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Canor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Gergori, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Maximino Hegoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Dorio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A hard shot by Aaron Rencio from long distance, 49 minutes into the match, got Pascual Dorio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nemesio Lertxun made a kick off. Fernando Gergori was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. PASION VILLERA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Xema Team's zone, Justino Eztebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Canor came out of the goal and Justino Eztebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Marko kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. PASION VILLERA's Leandro Corderun shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Froilan Canor but with some difficulty. In the 74th minute, Fermin Marko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Froilan Canor successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nemesio Lertxun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Froilan Canor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Eztebe's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When Geronimo Chuan fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xema Team's protests and gave Geronimo Chuan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Xema Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Chuan to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Victoriano Millano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Sayvion charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Sayvion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Xema Team booed when PASION VILLERA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Sayvion didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Maximino Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
