Cirilo Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Maties in the 49th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Maties stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Almirante Brown booed when Teodolina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Palben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Venceslas in the 55th minute. Teodolina's Atilano Azeari got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Teodolina got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Oalo. 72 minutes into the match, Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Tristan came free, but Eliseo Ourente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Teodolina booed when Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Azeari took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Ourente. Eliseo Ourente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Eliseo Ourente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almirante Brown's Eliseo Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Azeari in the 91st minute of play. Almirante Brown's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
