In the 4th minute, Americo Polentzi made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Ourente. Almirante Brown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Ostadar in the 7th minute of play forced Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Eliseo Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Baleren kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Chiriguanos's Gilberto Macario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Ourente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 17 played minutes Chiriguanos got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Boniel. In the 21st minute, Marcos Cordaryal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Venceslas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Edelmiro Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Chiriguanos's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Maties came free, but Edelmiro Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Primo to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Bernaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mario Bento hit a great ball. Gilberto Macario struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Eliseo Ourente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiriguanos. Edelmiro Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Maties in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Chiriguanos were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Americo Polentzi made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Chiriguanos's Americo Polentzi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Ourente was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Mateo Venceslas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Hulberto. Chiriguanos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Venceslas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Maties in the 68th minute of play forced Chiriguanos's goalkeeper Edelmiro Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Americo Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Ourente having to interfere. In the 81st minute Mateo Venceslas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Jeremias Enol had to leave the field with a concussion. Marco Erramu charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Erramu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Erramu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Almirante Brown's zone, Americo Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Ourente came out of the goal and Americo Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Eduardo Bernaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Almirante Brown supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chiriguanos's performance. The match ended with a win for Chiriguanos.
