Leonides Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rigoberto Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rodolfo Bautista fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galvez AFC's protests and gave Rodolfo Bautista a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Galvez AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maseta FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Tiburcio Gelacio, was totally fooled by Maseta FC's Isidro Pio, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Leonides Urbes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rigoberto Gonza was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Elias Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Galvez AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
