Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eriberto Rico kicked off to start the match. Leonides Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Bartoli having to interfere. Modesto Petrigai hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Elias Laurentzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galvez AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mencué FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Galvez AFC's Elias Laurentzi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Galvez AFC's Tiburcio Gelacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Rico in the 29th minute of play. Gaspar Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tiburcio Gelacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Leonides Urbes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galvez AFC and the Mencué FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 47 minutes into the match, Galvez AFC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Gelacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Dominguez. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonides Urbes to make the kick off. Modesto Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Bartoli having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Mencué FC's goalkeeper Niceto Bartoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Urbes. 60 minutes into the match, Leonides Urbes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niceto Bartoli, 0-1. After 66 played minutes Mencué FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Ixaka. Placido Umbruso's late challenge caught a Mencué FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Umbruso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galvez AFC's Placido Umbruso got a free kick in the 71st minute. Modesto Petrigai charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Petrigai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mencué FC booed when Galvez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Petrigai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Gelacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Mencué FC's goalkeeper Niceto Bartoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Umbruso. A collision led to Galvez AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Anibal Norino hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Placido Umbruso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th play minute Leonides Urbes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Niceto Bartoli. 0-2. Galvez AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
