Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eriberto Rico made the kick off which started today's match. Salvador Eleder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Mencué FC's Eriberto Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niceto Bartoli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Eleder's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Dominguez got free with Angelino Quinton in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelino Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Eutropio in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Talleres F.C.'s goalkeeper Angelino Quinton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Dominguez. After a rather tough play, Talleres F.C.'s Tobias Kaxen got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Zacarias Eutropio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Frederico hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Salvador Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Bartoli having to interfere. Salvador Eleder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niceto Bartoli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Angelino Quinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Dominguez in the 48th minute. In the 50th minute of the match Mencué FC got a corner. Talleres F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pascual Ixaka ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Eleder to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Mencué FC's zone, Salvador Eleder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Bartoli came out of the goal and Salvador Eleder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Dominguez in the 60th minute of the match. Salvador Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Bartoli having to interfere. Mencué FC's Zacarias Eutropio pulled a muscle in his back after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jose Guillen's late challenge caught a Mencué FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Guillen helped the player get up and apologised. Talleres F.C.'s Angelino Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Rico in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Talleres F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Dominguez came free, but Angelino Quinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Ourente during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mencué FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Talleres F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
