Guaberto Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Dacio in the 5th minute of play. CHIME FC's Ciro Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Perpinya in the 9th minute of play. Ciro Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Perpinya in the 11th minute of the match. Gogo Perpinya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Guillelmus having to interfere. Leopoldo Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Guaberto Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, CHIME FC's Ciro Guillelmus got control of the ball when Daniel Enol tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Gogo Perpinya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciénaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Perpinya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciénaga's Gogo Perpinya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciro Guillelmus. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciénaga's goalkeeper Guaberto Mercurio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eusebio Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Daniel Enol struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ciro Guillelmus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciénaga. After a rather tough play, Ciénaga's Nestor Eudoxio got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Ciénaga's goalkeeper Guaberto Mercurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Corderro. After a rather tough play, CHIME FC's Justo Urko got a free kick in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Enol in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Guillelmus saved CHIME FC from getting behind. Leopoldo Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Mercurio having to interfere. If Leopoldo Dacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Corderro took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Mercurio. Guaberto Mercurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CHIME FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
