Conlara's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Unai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Leguizamón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nestor Unais short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Romulo Leguizamón to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Conlara's Nestor Unai got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, CALERA's Ovidio Jakue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilberto Pueblo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Melquiades Enmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. CALERA's Victorio Lonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Conlara's Bernardo Arnas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Leguizamón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Amadeo Illart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CALERA and the Conlara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Amadeo Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Unai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Unai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Leguizamón read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Conlara's Melquiades Enmanuel got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Jakue in the 56th minute of play forced Conlara's goalkeeper Gilberto Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Nestor Unai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CALERA's Romulo Leguizamón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CALERA's Remigio Feliz got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes, Conlara's Carolo Olando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Romulo Leguizamón came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Conlara reached it. In the 74th minute, Nestor Unai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes, Bernardo Arnas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conlara and the CALERA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Conlara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Ovidio Jakue scored to the left of an out of position Gilberto Pueblo, making the score, 0-4. Nestor Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Leguizamón having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, CALERA's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Arnas came free, but Romulo Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
