An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Eutor in the 15th minute of play forced FERDINAND FC's goalkeeper Enrique Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Saverio Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Deportivo Balvanera's Saverio Lartaun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Abaurre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alberto Ishmael struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Albano Gudesteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FERDINAND FC. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Enmanuel came free, but Albano Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saverio Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute Saverio Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Eutor might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Abaurre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Eutor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Paolo Playo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FERDINAND FC's goalkeeper Enrique Abaurre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 played minutes FERDINAND FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Bela. In the 48thth minute of the game Saverio Lartaun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FERDINAND FC's Enrique Abaurre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Eutor to make the kick off. A collision led to FERDINAND FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alberto Ishmael hit a great ball. When Alberto Ishmael got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for FERDINAND FC. Albano Gudesteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Enmanuel in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Marcelo Magdaleno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albano Gudesteo skillfully saved the ball. After 62 minutes, Ernesto Laurgain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FERDINAND FC and the Deportivo Balvanera players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, FERDINAND FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Natalio Eutor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Ishmael in the 75th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Albano Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, FERDINAND FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Enmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Ishmael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albano Gudesteo having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Balvanera's zone, Jairo Enmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Gudesteo came out of the goal and Jairo Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
