Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Deportivo Balvanera's Natalio Eutor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Calilegua got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Caetano. Jonathan Faro charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Faro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Calilegua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Faro to maneuver through the defense. Iker Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Albano Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Deportivo Balvanera's Natalio Eutor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Meder was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Saverio Lartaun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Meder. Calilegua's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Lartaun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Calilegua's Iker Rodriguez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albano Gudesteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Calilegua getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Esteve Oxarra hit a great ball. Natalio Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Benito Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Natalio Eutor notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Calilegua's Benito Meder. Benito Meder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Natalio Eutor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Eutor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Meder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Celso Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Lartaun in the 45th minute of play forced Calilegua's goalkeeper Benito Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Esquipula in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Esquipula to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Calilegua's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Salamon came free, but Benito Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Deportivo Balvanera's Natalio Eutor in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Benito Meder was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Calilegua through an amazing save. Albano Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Esquipula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Balvanera's Albano Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Rodriguez in the 62nd minute of play. Albano Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Esquipula in the 63rd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albano Gudesteo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albano Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Esquipula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Esquipula might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Gudesteo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Esquipula ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 minutes Deportivo Balvanera's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Josías González who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Calilegua's Iker Rodriguez to fire away a dangerous shot which Albano Gudesteo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Celso Esquipula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Rodriguez during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Calilegua getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Iker Rodriguez hit a great ball. Celso Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Albano Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Calilegua supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Balvanera's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Balvanera.
