The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Ishmael got free with Osvaldo Donio in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute of the match, Jairo Enmanuel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldo Donio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Ishmael in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Donio saved IVFC from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, IVFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Enmanuel came free, but Osvaldo Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abelardo Montes fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. IVFC:s Osvaldo Donio showed great skill when he stopped Eloy Espiridion:s penalty. Jairo Enmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Donio having to interfere.
