Calilegua's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Esquipula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Donio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes IVFC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Modestio. In the 24th minute of the match Ermegildo Noe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Donio skillfully saved the ball. Osvaldo Donio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Esquipula, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute.
