In the 10th minute, Romeo Panpili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartolo Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Astor Frances came free, but Lucio Llin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Roderigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lucio Llin made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Satanes's Astor Frances slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucio Llin. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. Romeo Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lucio Llin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Bartolo Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Satanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Roderigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. San Lorenzo F.C.'s Lucio Llin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Roderigo in the 31st minute of play. If Bartolo Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Daniel Laurin in the 34th minute really tested Lucio Llin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lucio Llin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Lalla in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Romeo Panpili reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucio Llin. The goal made the score 2-0. If Romeo Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 55th minute Romeo Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Llin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Claudio Abecia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Satanes the free kick. Lucio Llin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Frances in the 73rd minute of the match.
