Jean-Charles Graffin was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Valentin Ieltxu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Ieltxu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Giant Killing's Evelio Matia pulled a muscle in his leg after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Severino Matai's late challenge caught a Giant Killing's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Matai helped the player get up and apologised. Severino Matai hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. During the 30th minute of the match Severino Matai completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Severino Matai a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Timoteo Eutropio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Costante, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jean-Charles Graffin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Hondo in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Giant Killing's zone, Mauro Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Enmanuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Santiago Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rexas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Hondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Charles Graffin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timoteo Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Costante in the 55th minute of play. Bernardo Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Romano took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Charles Graffin. Jean-Charles Graffin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 81 minutes of play, Rexas FC's Antonio Cai made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Charles Graffin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jean-Charles Graffin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Mauro Romano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rexas FC had played much better football throughout.
