Apolo Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Ferran in the 18th minute of play. Leonel Peruxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Apolo Palban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chorrillo FC booed when Don Johnson F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Edwardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Ovidio Serapio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorrillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Serapio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Cresconio in the 30th minute of the match. Artemio Normando hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Sixto Edwardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Filomeno Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Nardo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Filomeno Bermudez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Johnson F.C. After the first half Chorrillo FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ramon Ferran made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Arnoldo Cresconio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Don Johnson F.C and the Chorrillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ramon Ferran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorrillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Ferran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Palban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Perpinya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chorrillo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
