Apolo Palban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Edwardo got free with Jean-Charles Graffin in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. German Ruy made a great header on Don Johnson F.C's corner, it was just that Giant Killing's Jean-Charles Graffin managed to reach the ball for a save. Remigio Costante's late challenge caught a Don Johnson F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Nardo made a kick off. Arnoldo Cresconio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Laureano Senio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giant Killing's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Senio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Palban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Anastasio Aresti notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Don Johnson F.C's Apolo Palban. Giant Killing's Anastasio Aresti got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 83 in the game by Laureano Senio from a close distance when the talented Apolo Palban managed to make a qualified save. Don Johnson F.C's players were relieved. Laureano Senio struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Apolo Palban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giant Killing. Anastasio Aresti took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Palban. Apolo Palban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.
