Elias Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Guillermo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Cresconio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Gilabert having to make a save. Mario Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Gilabert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Cresconio in the 43rd minute of the match. Ernesto Barrionuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Gilabert having to interfere. Ernesto Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The supporters of Ercoupe FC booed when MALGANI SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ercoupe FC's Ignacio Berto got a free kick in the 67th minute. Nicanor Laurendi's late challenge caught a Ercoupe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Laurendi helped the player get up and apologised. Nicanor Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. MALGANI SC's Ariel Gilabert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Barrionuevo in the 75th minute of play. If Elias Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Calisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Cortez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Calisto in the 82nd minute of play forced Ercoupe FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, MALGANI SC's Esteve Calisto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Cortez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, MALGANI SC's Esteve Calisto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ercoupe FC reached it. Ernesto Barrionuevo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Ercoupe FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ercoupe FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MALGANI SC.
