Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MALGANI SC's Esteve Calisto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Inter Miami FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gervasio Quintun hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Prospero Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inter Miami FC's Maximino Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Calisto in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Inter Miami FC defense, Elias Roldan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Mingo. The Inter Miami FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Mingo should have stopped the shot. Romeo Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Gilabert having to interfere. Romeo Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gervasio Quintun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Romeo Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Inter Miami FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Rivas couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Rivas made a kick off. Romeo Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inter Miami FC! When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Nicanor Laurendi took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Maximino Mingo to make any attempt to save it. Dionisio Duardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Gilabert having to interfere. In the 68th minute Dionisio Duardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Quintun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in MALGANI SC's zone, Gervasio Quintun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Gilabert came out of the goal and Gervasio Quintun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Quintun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Rivas in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Gilabert saved MALGANI SC from getting behind. Gervasio Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Gilabert having to interfere. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Romeo Rivas sped through MALGANI SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ariel Gilabert. After 83 minutes of play, Inter Miami FC's Prospero Etxatxu made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Gilabert was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Romeo Rivas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Ariel Gilabert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Basilio Inge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ariel Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Inter Miami FC had played much better football throughout.
