A collision led to Ercoupe FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Tomas Guifre hit a great ball. Benito Feo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Feo might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Feo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Feo got free with Guillermo Cortez in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mario Cresconio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Benito Feo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Guillermo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. The supporters of Ercoupe FC booed when OGT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Feo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santos Iraido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as OGT's Santos Iraido slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillermo Cortez. That made the score 1-0 after 41 minutes of play. Ercoupe FC's Guillermo Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ercoupe FC from getting a goal against them. 49 minutes into the match, Ercoupe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Iraido came free, but Guillermo Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Santos Iraido made the kick off in the second half. Benito Feo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Feo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56thth minute of the game Santos Iraido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ercoupe FC's Guillermo Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th match minute, OGT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Iraunkor to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ernesto Barrionuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ercoupe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Barrionuevo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Pirmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Santos Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Benito Feo made a precise shot to the right of Guillermo Cortez. Ercoupe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mario Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Evaristo Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Teofilo Orlondon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OGT and the Ercoupe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, OGT's Teofilo Orlondon got a free kick in the 78th minute. When OGT's Santos Iraido in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ercoupe FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Santos Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercoupe FC's Guillermo Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Orlondon in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Ercoupe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Feo came free, but Guillermo Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Iraido in the 96th minute of the match. Roque Indar took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Cortez. Guillermo Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the referee ended the match the OGT players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
