Pavón's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gustavo Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Ondino, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Pavón getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Arsenio Edwardo hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, NO DE NUEVO DECIA FC's Martin Ondino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Perrando hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, NO DE NUEVO DECIA FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Melchor Mano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Mano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pavón's Arsenio Edwardo got a free kick in the 56th minute. Pavón's Gustavo Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Ondino in the 60th minute of play. Melchor Mano took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Estebano. Siro Estebano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 65th minute, Martin Ondino made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Cordarrell. Pavón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Lucas Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Siro Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Apolo Cesaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NO DE NUEVO DECIA FC and the Pavón players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Apolo Cesaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Estebano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Mano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pavón's zone, Martin Ondino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Cordarrell came out of the goal and Martin Ondino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pavón's Gustavo Cordarrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pavón from getting a goal against them. Arsenio Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Mano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Siro Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. NO DE NUEVO DECIA FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
