Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Romeo Rivas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Romeo Rivas charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Rivas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Inter Miami FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Rivas. 4 minutes into the game, Gervasio Quintun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Miami FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OGT the free kick. A collision led to Inter Miami FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gervasio Quintun hit a great ball. In the 6th match minute, Inter Miami FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Quintun to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 13 minutes, Gervasio Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Iraido during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes OGT got a freekick which was hit by Santos Iraido. After having played for 23 minutes, Gervasio Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Indar in the 29th minute of play forced Inter Miami FC's goalkeeper Maximino Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Leonides Iraunkor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximino Mingo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Inter Miami FC defense, Teofilo Orlondon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Mingo. The Inter Miami FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Mingo should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Victoriano Gipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, OGT's goalkeeper Evaristo Pirmin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Duardo. In the 39th minute, Roque Indar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in OGT's zone, Prospero Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Pirmin came out of the goal and Prospero Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-1 became the score in the 43rd minute when Romeo Rivas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Iraido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Duardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gervasio Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Evaristo Pirmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, OGT's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Rivas came free, but Evaristo Pirmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Mingo made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Benito Feo sent off a good shot on target. After 61 played minutes Inter Miami FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Inge. The supporters of Inter Miami FC booed when OGT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Pirmin having to interfere. After 68 played minutes OGT got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Montrelle. In the 70th minute, Romeo Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 minutes, Romeo Rivas made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. OGT's Evaristo Pirmin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Feo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Mingo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Feo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 83 played minutes OGT got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Orlondon. Evaristo Pirmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gervasio Quintun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Pirmin having to interfere. Maximino Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Iraido in the 87th minute of play. When Romeo Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Inter Miami FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Rivas couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Inter Miami FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
