With his leg Gustavo Cordarrell managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Inter Miami FC's Romeo Rivas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Pavón getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Arsenio Edwardo hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Pavón got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Thomas. Melchor Mano charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Mano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Inter Miami FC booed when Pavón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Mano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Inter Miami FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Mano came free, but Maximino Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Miami FC's Gervasio Quintun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Cordarrell. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. Gustavo Cordarrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Etxatxu went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Quintun in the 35th minute of play forced Pavón's goalkeeper Gustavo Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roman Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Rivas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Cordarrell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Inter Miami FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rosalio came free, but Maximino Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, Pavón's Martin Rosalio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Mingo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Martin Rosalio made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Prospero Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pavón getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Martin Rosalio hit a great ball. Romeo Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Cordarrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeo Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustavo Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Martin Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Marcial Grabiel in the 66th minute really tested Maximino Mingo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gustavo Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Cordarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Duardo in the 70th minute of play. Pavón's Gustavo Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Rivas in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Arsenio Edwardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Inter Miami FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gervasio Quintun hit a great ball. Maximino Mingo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Melchor Mano sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Quintun during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gervasio Quintun kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Gustavo Cordarrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Etxatxu in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Inter Miami FC's Maximino Mingo got control of the ball when Melchor Mano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Romeo Rivas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pavón's Gustavo Cordarrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Romeo Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Pavón's Maximino Mingo threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Rosalio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. There was no doubt that Inter Miami FC were the better team. Inter Miami FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
