An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Ramos in the 15th minute of play forced Mendieta's goalkeeper Baltasar Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Mendieta's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Bonifaco came free, but Baltasar Raymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute of the match, Candido Bonifaco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baltasar Raymon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Teofilo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Raymon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Teofilo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. HAEDO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Raymon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mendieta booed when HAEDO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Bonifaco in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofilo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Baltasar Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mendieta's Fausto Misael got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Fausto Misael off the ground. HAEDO FC's Saul Peio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mendieta. HAEDO FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
