In the 9th minute, Tiburcio Frasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Godofredo Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Asteri having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Octavio Oroitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godfredo Jerold's late challenge caught a Aurora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Jerold helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, one of CALLEJEROS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CALLEJEROS. The referee gave Aurora a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erubiel Cayo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CALLEJEROS's Luisito Asteri. 1-0. Luisito Asteri was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Godofredo Nuxila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Godofredo Nuxila really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Oroitz got free with Luisito Asteri in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Elpidio Giro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aurora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CALLEJEROS the free kick. The supporters of CALLEJEROS booed when Aurora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Octavio Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurora's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Oroitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Asteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Conrado Rufo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CALLEJEROS's protests and gave Conrado Rufo a yellow card for diving instead. Godofredo Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Asteri having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Godofredo Nuxila made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Aurora's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Muno came free, but Nestor Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Oroitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Luisito Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Nuxila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Godofredo Nuxila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Aurora's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Muno came free, but Nestor Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CALLEJEROS's Luisito Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Giro in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Muno in the 85th minute of play forced Aurora's goalkeeper Nestor Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Godofredo Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aurora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Nuxila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
