A hard shot 3 in the game by Teofilo Ramos from a close distance when the talented Marcos Jusepe managed to make a qualified save. Gon FC's players were relieved. Gon FC's Delmiro Jatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes HAEDO FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Montrell. The audience was convinced that Delmiro Jatsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Salvadore was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. David Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Salvadore having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as HAEDO FC's Teofilo Ramos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Jusepe. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gon FC's zone, Rafael Montrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Jusepe came out of the goal and Rafael Montrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Jusepe made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Teofilo Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Astor Azibar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Salvadore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candido Bonifaco was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cesar Kemen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of HAEDO FC's Ezequiel Salvadore. Ezequiel Salvadore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teofilo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Jusepe having to interfere. Candido Bonifaco might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Jusepe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Bonifaco ran back to his position shaking his head. Gon FC's Delmiro Jatsu suffered a sore thigh after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Gon FC booed when HAEDO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Teofilo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Gon FC defense, Rafael Montrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Jusepe. The Gon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Jusepe should have stopped the shot. If Teofilo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes Gon FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Abancens. Candido Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marcos Jusepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafael Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Kemen during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th match minute, HAEDO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Indartsu to maneuver through the defense.
