Simon Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Gregory in the 46th minute of the match. Antonio Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dante Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Fernando Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Kemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Llope having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Calvino in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Llope saved Trancas from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Niceto Kemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matambre's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Kemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Llope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernando Calvino struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Antonio Llope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matambre. Matambre's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
