Spectators: 7189 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 100) Vinicio Lucila started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Uriel Lastur fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matambre's protests and gave Uriel Lastur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, one of Matambre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Matambre. Vinicio Lucila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Rogelio Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Lucila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Crescencio having to interfere. When Rogelio Bilintx came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Juli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Bilintx couldn't finish the play. Marcial Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Crescencio having to interfere. Simon Crescencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Lucila in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Matambre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Poz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Fernando Calvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matambre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Calvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Kemen got free with Santos Godoy in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Niceto Kemen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Godoy. Juli FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Kemen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Calvino in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Godoy saved Juli FC from getting behind. Marcial Llorenc kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Juli FC's goalkeeper Santos Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Kemen.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Calvino to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Matambre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Urre to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Matambre's Florencio Urre got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Narciso Tavio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Crescencio skillfully saved the ball. Marcial Llorenc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fernando Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Bilintx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Calvino struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Santos Godoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matambre. If Fernando Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juli FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
