Paulo Xacintu's late challenge caught a Social ST's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Xacintu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Encrucijada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. If Ricardo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Social ST's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Diagur came free, but Gaudencio Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Diagur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Rodrigo Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Encrucijada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Frascuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Social ST's Gaudencio Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Frascuelo in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Paulo Xacintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Social ST getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nicanor Crispo hit a great ball. Gaudencio Javiar came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Encrucijada's Rodrigo Frascuelo. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Frascuelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gaudencio Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Benedicto Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gaudencio Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Simon Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulo Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Encrucijada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Xacintu couldn't finish the play. If Ricardo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Javiar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Enekoitz in the 44th minute of play forced Social ST's goalkeeper Gaudencio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 54 minutes, Rodrigo Frascuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encrucijada and the Social ST players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Social ST booed when Encrucijada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Frascuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Chico in the 55th minute of the match. Simon Diagur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Gaudencio Javiar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 59 in the game by Simon Diagur from a close distance when the talented Gaudencio Javiar managed to make a qualified save. Social ST's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Enekoitz in the 62nd minute of play forced Social ST's goalkeeper Gaudencio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Simon Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
