Gaudencio Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Calvino in the 8th minute of play. Nicanor Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Gustavo Eder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Maximino Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Social ST's Maximino Chico got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Claudio Jokin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matambre's protests and gave Claudio Jokin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Matambre's Claudio Jokin got a free kick in the 20th minute. Social ST's Gustavo Eder got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Geronimo Telmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 32 played minutes Matambre got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Jokin. Niceto Kemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matambre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Uriel Lastur in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Matambre booed when Social ST was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Social ST's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Chico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Matambre's Fernando Calvino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaudencio Javiar. Gaudencio Javiar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Marcial Jobo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matambre's protests and gave Marcial Jobo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Matambre getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Marcial Jobo hit a great ball. Marcos Chepe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Crescencio. Matambre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
